1 Snap

Open the client's detail page in your CRM, click the 1ClickForm icon, press Snap Data.

The client card appears and stays loaded until you snap another. Snapping the same client again pulls in a correction.

2 Check

Press Intake Form, tick the carriers you are quoting, answer what is marked required, press Save.

Each question is asked once for all of them. Saving with gaps is allowed — the bar names what is still missing.

3 Fill

Open the carrier's application, get to the page that has the fields, press Fill Form.

It ends with a count such as Filled 34/41. Move to the next carrier — the client stays loaded.

Before you submit

  • Every field it wrote is tinted green: the value is in the field and still there. Anything untinted is yours to complete.
  • Filled 34/41 means seven were left empty — no stored value, or no matching option. It never invents an answer: a blank beats a wrong one on an application.
  • 1ClickForm does not submit and does not decide anything. Every field stays editable and the last look is yours.
  • A value you fix on the carrier's page is not stored. Put corrections in the intake form — or in the CRM, then snap again.

A client with two homes

  • Snap the second home's CRM page and answer the prompt: Create new property for another dwelling, Update this property for a correction.
  • Not in the CRM at all? Popup → Add property opens the intake form ready to add it by hand.
  • Applicant details and the mailing address are shared; risk address, property details and coverage belong to each property.
  • Before each fill, pick the dwelling in the popup's property picker — the line under it says fills this property.

Why a fill takes a few seconds

  • It waits for the page between fields — many portals fetch the next dropdown or re-render a block after every answer.
  • It comes back for fields that appear later, walking a cascade one level at a time, which is why the count climbs in bursts.
  • It re-writes values the portal threw away at the end of the run. A value the portal merely reformats is left alone.

What the intake form is telling you

* and required At least one ticked carrier insists on the field. It is the strictest rule across your selection, so it changes as you tick carriers.
Won't fill Carrier X
(no matching option)
Your answer has no equivalent there, so that field is left blank on their form. Not an error — a gap you know about in advance.
Needs review It could not be recovered cleanly from something already stored. Type it once and it is fixed.
A question you expected,
missing
It is computed rather than asked — age of roof from the roof year, "built before 1975" from the year built.
Mailing address Tick same as the property address and saving copies the risk address across.

The Snap/Fill box on the page

  • On a portal it recognises, the icon sits on the right edge — Snap and Fill without opening the popup.
  • Drag it wherever it suits you; the spot is remembered on every page from then on.
  • It has no property picker of its own: it fills whichever property the popup last selected.
  • To take it off your pages, use On-page buttons in the popup's footer.

When it does not do what you expect

Filled 0/40

The carrier's page is still on an earlier step, or the form had not finished loading. Complete step one, wait, fill again.

A dropdown stays empty

Nothing at that carrier matches your answer. Pick the nearest by hand; if it recurs, the pairing can be configured — tell your administrator.

Nothing happens at all

The extension was updated while the tab was open. Refresh the portal tab.

Unmapped, or no portal card

The site is not whitelisted, or its fields have not been mapped yet. Send your administrator the exact URL.

A snap that found nothing

Usually a list or dashboard page rather than the client's own — open their detail view and snap again.

Client not found in the intake form

You are signed in with a different organisation than the one that snapped the client.
